CyberArmedGregory Abrenio is a leading authority on the HID CMS and HID PIV IDMS platforms, specializing in helping customers transition to hardware-based multifactor authentication (MFA). Leveraging his unique personal identify verification and FIDO software development expertise, Abrenio uses HID solutions to enable customers to gain a greater return on their MFA investment through converged identification strategies, credential standardization and secure self-service issuance models. He has authored several hardware MFA implementation articles and holds a master’s degree focused on information security from the Johns Hopkins University.

Roger RoehrPACS Subject-Matter Expert
BruckEdwardsRoger Roehr is an independent PACS consultant and subject matter expert with deep specialization in ICAM, FICAM, smart card credential systems and biometric access control. He served as primary architect of the Pentagon’s enterprise-wide FICAM Privilege Management Program, contributed to the General Services Administration FIPS 201 shared service solution and APL test harness and was technical lead for physical access control on the TWIC program. A former Air Force Security Police officer, Roehr previously held engineering and technical positions at Tyco, BearingPoint, M.C. Dean, Battelle Memorial Labs, Siemens Building Technology, and Security Technology Group, and served two years as chair of the Smart Card Alliance Physical Access Control Council.

HIDGreg Hodges brings over 35 years of experience in physical access control systems and federal identity management, serving U.S. federal government and enterprise security clients at the highest levels. As senior product manager at HID, he leads product execution for the Credential Management portfolio spanning CMS, ActivClient and PIV IDMS with focused emphasis on DMDC, USAccess and NASA programs.
Hodges has contributed to landmark security programs supporting intelligence agencies, the Secret Service and the White House, combining deep technical expertise with strategic product leadership. A respected voice in the industry, he serves on the Security Industry Association’s Government Relations Committee and Identity and Biometric Technology Advisory Board and has engaged U.S. Congress on digital identity policy. Hodges holds certifications in PMP and SAFe Agile, and an MBA from Tulane University.
