Autonomous security technologies are often discussed as part of the solution, yet many cities struggle to move beyond pilots into scalable, policy-aligned deployments.
This session examines what actually happens when autonomous security is deployed in a major U.S. downtown and allowed to scale based on outcomes rather than hype. Drawing from the city of Cleveland, Ohio’s multi-phase deployment in and around Public Square and adjacent districts, this discussion explores the operational, governance and policy lessons learned as AI-driven security systems were integrated into an existing municipal safety ecosystem and expanded following measurable results and public visibility.
