Essential Information for GovSummit Attendees
GovSummit 2018 Venue Location
Please note – SIA GovSummit moved to the Grand Hyatt Washington to accommodate the needs of our event. All events originally slated at NAHB will be held at the Grand Hyatt Washington.
Shuttle Bus
A shuttle bus will continually loop between the Kimpton Donovan Hotel and the conference venue at the Grand Hyatt Washington on Wednesday, June 27, from 6 - 9 a.m.
Day 1 Venue (Wednesday, June 27)
All Day 1 activities (breakfast, conference sessions, lunch, networking reception and the SIA Policy Leadership Awards Dinner) will be held at the Grand Hyatt Washington.

SIA has made some exciting additions to the conference program. The official SIA GovSummit agenda is published in the event app (see below) and on the show website.
Registration/Badge Pickup
Badge pickup opens Wednesday, June 27, at 7 a.m. on the Independence Level of the Grand Hyatt Washington, D.C. Breakfast will be served, so come early to network and get ready for the start of sessions at 8 a.m. in the Independence Ballroom. Bring your confirmation email with barcode to save time at badge pickup.
Event App
The SIA Programs app for your mobile device will be your source for the conference program, live audience polling, messaging attendees, the speakers guide, surveys and more.
Download the SIA Programs app (available for iOS and for Android) by searching for "SIA Programs" in your smartphone's app store or clicking on the appropriate icon below.
Once you have the app, select “SIA GovSummit 2018” and log in with your email address (the one you used to register for the conference).

Meals
Included meals: SIA GovSummit attendees will be provided meals at breakfast, lunch and the networking reception on Wednesday (Day 1).
Optional meals include the SIA Policy Leadership Awards Dinner on Wednesday (Day 1), the SIAThere! Networking Breakfast on Thursday (Day 2) and the luncheon at the Secure Schools Roundtable on Thursday (Day 2). These optional events are free to attend but require an RSVP due to limited seating.
If you did not RSVP for one of the optional events that involves a meal (Day 1: SIA Policy Leadership Awards Dinner; Day 2: SIAThere! Networking Breakfast, lunch at Secure Schools Roundtable), please inquire at registration or ask a SIA staff member about availability. To do so in advance, please email conference registrar Byron Haugabook at byronh@securityindustry.org. If we have seats left for these events, you will be invited to join us!

Dress Code
While there is no official dress code for SIA GovSummit, most attendees and speakers will wear business or business-casual attire.
Hotel Room Block
The hotel room block is the Kimpton Donovan Hotel at 1155 14th St. NW, Washington, DC.
If you booked a room as part of the SIA GovSummit room block rate, it will be at this hotel, not at the conference venue (Grand Hyatt Washington). Please note that no conference events are being held at the Kimpton. See above for conference venue locations or check our agenda.
