Breakout
From Security Failures to Resilience: Case Studies in Protecting Government Facilities
Through Integrated Design and Risk Mitigation

Government facilities face increasing pressure to address aging infrastructure and operational vulnerabilities before failures occur. This session presents practitioner-driven case studies from high-risk correctional environments demonstrating how security gaps, maintenance deficiencies and poor design decisions can escalate into major institutional consequences. Attendees gain practical, vendor-neutral frameworks for identifying systemic vulnerabilities, modernizing facility protection and applying lessons learned across government environments.
