    Roger Roehr is an independent PACS consultant and subject matter expert with deep specialization in ICAM, FICAM, smart card credential systems and biometric access control. He served as primary architect of the Pentagon’s enterprise-wide FICAM Privilege Management Program, contributed to the General Services Administration FIPS 201 shared service solution and APL test harness and was technical lead for physical access control on the TWIC program. A former Air Force Security Police officer, Roehr previously held engineering and technical positions at Tyco, BearingPoint, M.C. Dean, Battelle Memorial Labs, Siemens Building Technology, and Security Technology Group, and served two years as chair of the Smart Card Alliance Physical Access Control Council.
