About Speaker

Eric Hartman is the director of engineering for data science and OAAP at Honeywell Building Automation Security and Access Solutions. With 25 years of experience in the design, development and integration of physical access control systems, he has significantly contributed to Honeywell through various acquisitions.

Beginning his career as a software engineer at CASI-RUSCO, Hartman held positions of increasing responsibility at Interlogix, GE, UTC and LenelS2, working across a diverse range of product lines. In 2024, he co-founded the SAS Data Science organization to leverage machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques in enhancing SAS product offerings.

Hartman holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in computer science from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
