Senior National Intelligence Officer (SNIO) Tiffany Summerfield has worked counterintelligence in the FBI for 18 years. From 2008 to 2016, she was a member of the Counterintelligence & Espionage Division’s Global Counterintelligence Analysis & Targeting Unit, where she earned ODNI and NCSC awards for her work on a priority target. From 2016 to 2025, Summerfield served as the supervisory intelligence analyst and later unit chief in CED’s Counterespionage & Unauthorized Disclosure Intelligence Unit, managing intelligence support to all of the Bureau’s investigations of espionage, unauthorized public disclosures, and mishandling of classified information. She earned a Bachelor of Science in international politics from Georgetown University in 2006 and a Master of Science in strategic intelligence from the National Intelligence University in 2012.
