Jordan Burris joined the White House in 2017 as a senior advisor to the Federal Chief Information Officer and Federal Chief Information Security Officer. He directs the development of policies and execution of programs to advance the implementation Federal Identity, Credential, and Access Management (FICAM) and protection of High Value Assets (HVAs). Mr. Burris previously worked for Deloitte where he used his results-oriented expertise to help complex organizations achieve their strategic objectives through proactive cyber risk management.

The technology that manages credentials for federal workers and controls access to federal facilities and computer networks is critical to cybersecurity and national security. Physical access is the last remaining great challenge in bringing strong authentication to the Federal enterprise.  This panel will examine these challenges within six different aspects of PACS implementation, and how industry and the federal government can work together under a new set of federal policies under development to help address them.
