Rep. John Katko
Representative, New York's 24th Congressional District
U.S. House of Representatives
Rep. John M. Katko (R-N.Y.) was first elected to represent New York’s 24th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives in November 2014. He was re-elected for a fourth term in November 2020. The 24th Congressional District includes all of Onondaga, Cayuga and Wayne Counties and the western portion of Oswego County.
A Camillus, New York, native, Katko left his 20-year career as a federal prosecutor to run for public office because he believes central New York deserves strong, independent leadership in Washington. In Congress, he serves as ranking member on the House Committee on Homeland Security and as a member of the House Committee on Transportation & Infrastructure.
U.S. Rep. John Katko (R-N.Y.), leveraging his role as congressman and ranking member of the House Committee on Homeland Security, will discuss security challenges and how we can address them as a nation.
