Shawn Fiebiger is a deputy program manager for the Interagency Security Committee (ISC) within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. In this role, he is responsible for assisting with the management of the Compliance Level of Effort (LOE) including the ISC Compliance System (ISC-CS), annual reporting, compliance verification and participation in subcommittees and working groups. Additionally, he served 22 years in the U.S. Air Force working nuclear weapon maintenance and is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), earning his CISSP accreditation in 2018.

Interagency Security Committee (ISC) members have successfully completed the fourth year of compliance reporting while increasing the level of reporting among all members and enhancing levels of compliance across the committee. Compliance reporting provides ISC members with the means to measure, report and analyze compliance with the ISC policies and standards. This year was a major undertaking by all to achieve the Compliance Subcommittee’s goal of reporting on 100% of organization benchmarks and 100% of facility portfolios.
