Transportation Security Administration (TSA)

Steve joined TSA in early 2003, after careers as a journalist, (radio, television, daily newspapers), congressional staff for three members of the House of Representatives and registered lobbyist/government affairs director and executive for the United Motorcoach Association (UMA).

Steve was the agency’s first Chief of Highway Infrastructure Security and subject matter expert on commercial driver vetting required by the USA Patriot Act. As a senior transportation security specialist with TSA his service there has focused entirely on motor carrier and highway-related security and threat mitigation issues.
