SVP and President of the Americas
Tim Eckersley, a 25-year veteran in high growth technology industries, is senior vice president and president of the Americas region for Allegion. He previoulsy served as Ingersoll Rand’s president of Commercial Americas. In this role, Mr. Eckersley has the overall responsibility for the profit and loss for all commercial products and channels in the Americas for the Security Technology sector. He is also accountable for the development and execution of new business strategies and is sharply focused on delivering innovative new products and services to the security marketplace.
In his role at Ingersoll Rand, Mr. Eckersley brought a wealth of experience in general management, sales, product portfolio management, major technology partnerships and strategy within the electronics and telecommunications industries. The Commercial Americas business provides products and services to support the development of innovative security solutions required by the commercial, institutional, and education markets.
Prior to joining Ingersoll Rand in November 2007, Mr. Eckersley was senior vice president of customer and market operations for Nokia in North America. In this role, he was responsible for their multi-billion dollar mobile device business. At Nokia, he also held several senior leadership positions within the network infrastructure business. Prior to Nokia, Mr. Eckersley was executive vice president at Comsearch, a telecommunications consulting company in Virginia.
